Rachel’s back after Covid scare

PETALING JAYA: Rachel Arnold, following her Covid-19 scare, will be returning to competition when she plays in the Irish Open in Dublin today.

Rachel tested positive for the virus after winning the women’s doubles bronze medal in the World Doubles Championships in Glasgow two weeks ago, and was forced to withdraw from the Manchester Open from April 13-18.

Having made a quick recovery, the world No. 31 has received a first-round bye in the Irish Open which began yesterday.

Rachel is the fourth seed in the Professional Squash Association’s (PSA) Challenger Tour event.
