Aifa overcomes fatigue to clinch individual title

THE Malaysia Games (Sukma) was national squash player Aifa Azman’s third back-to-back tournament within a month but the courageous Kedahan overcame physical exhaustion to claim her first girls’ individual squash title.

The top seed had no problems defeating Chan Yiwen of Federal Territories 11-7, 11-1, 3-11, 11-3 in the final at the Ipoh City Council Squash Arena yesterday.
