(Reuters) - Chris Ashton became the first player to score 100 tries in the English Premiership with a hat-trick in Leicester's 62-19 win over Exeter, with the ex-England winger thanking team mates for helping him over the line ahead of his impending retirement.
Ashton, who scored 20 tries in 44 test appearances for England between 2010 and 2019, announced last week that he would retire from professional rugby at the end of the season.
