KUALA LUMPUR: National sepak takraw player Mohd Noraizat Nordin faces a long road to recovery after an ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) and meniscus injury to his right leg dealt him another cruel blow, following his withdrawal from the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
The 27-year-old, who suffered a right calf muscle injury during the final training session before the Games last month, now faces at least six to seven months on the sidelines after an MRI scan revealed more extensive damage than initially feared.
