MALAYSIA’S sepak takraw squad can still be proud of their showing at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games despite missing out on a second gold in the regu event.

Among those satisfied with the campaign was world-class tekong Syahir Rosdi, who was especially pleased that Malaysia had finally managed to dent Thailand’s pride by ending their dominance of more than three decades in the team regu event.
