Diani bows out of Asian Games after spirited fightback

A MUCH-improved second-day showing was not enough to save national equestrian athlete Diani Lee Cheng Ni’s campaign with her horse Sam 1108 as they were eliminated from the Asian Games.

Diani finished 40th out of 43 riders with a combined score of 116.441 points after two days of dressage qualifying at the JRA Equestrian Park in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo yesterday.
