PETALING JAYA: National men's kata team won a bronze in the Asian Games at Aichi-Nagoya on Wednesday (Sept 23).
The squad of Haznil Henry, Mohd Aiqal Asmadie, and Mukhriz Mazlan beat Vietnam 3-2 at the Toyohashi Gymnasium.
The national team, who received a bye into the semis, lost 0-5 to Kuwait and were forced to fight in the bronze medal bout.
Kuwait will face Macau in the final later in the day.
