Superwoman Qistina wins Sukma weightlifting gold - 10kg clear of nearest rival

KAJANG: Perak's Qistina Qharisya Suffia Mohd Muzani showed her class by claiming the first weightlifting gold medal at stake in Selangor Malaysia Games (Sukma) in Kajang on Sunday (Aug 16). 

The 21-year-old won the girls' 48kg category with a total of 154kg to finish 10kg more than second placed Nur Arrissya Nadia Nor Mardi. 

Qistina lifted 72kg in the snatch and 82kg in clean and jerk to win her second Sukma career gold medal. 

She had won the 45kg category at the last Sukma in Sarawak. 

Arrissya lifted 63kg in snatch and 81kg in clean and jerk. 

Nur Nadia Nasyiha Abdullah took the bronze for Pahang with a total of 130kg (55kg in snatch and 75kg in clean and jerk.
