PETALING JAYA: The Thai sepak takraw team have avenged their two previous defeats to Malaysia by beating their traditional arch rivals 2-0 in the final to defend the Thai King’s Cup at the Fashion Island Mall in Bangkok yesterday.
After being humiliated twice in the final stage of the team regu event at the 2025 SEA Games and the 2026 World Cup, the Thais ensured that the championship on their home turf was not lost to the visitors.
