MILAN, Feb 10 (Reuters) - American figure skater Ilia Malinin ⁠delivered his best performance of the Milano Cortina Games on Tuesday, landing two quadruple jumps and even throwing in a backflip in an electrifying men's short ⁠programme to take the lead.

Malinin posted 108.16 points, more than five clear of Japan's Yuma Kagiyama (103.07), with France's Adam Siao Him Fa third on 102.55.
