Thor’s Games hattrick bid ends in snooker semis

BANGKOK: Thor Chuan Leong’s bid for a third gold medal at the Thailand SEA Games ended after he failed to get the better of Kritsanut Lertsattayathorn in the men’s singles snooker semi-final clash at Thunder Dome in Muang Thong Thani last night.

Defending champion Chuan Leong needed to win the sixth frame but lost 19-78, which allowed the Thai cueist to sneak into the final on a 4-2 score.
