PETALING JAYA: The National Sports Council (NSC) have stepped in to fully cover the additional expenses incurred in relocating Malaysian athletes from flood-stricken Songkhla ahead of the SEA Games in Thailand.
The move, estimated to cost more than RM500,000, was approved at the NSC management board meeting chaired by Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh on Monday (Dec 1).
