Paddlers Rui Zhe-Ee Sim’s surprise run ends 36-year medal drought

The latest to make their presence felt on the international stage is unheralded Yap Rui Zhe and Lam Ee Sim, who ended a 36-year medal drought for Malaysia in the Asian Youth Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan yesterday.
