Pesaka aiming for seven gold medals at world meet


PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian National Silat Federation (Pesaka) have set the national contingent a seven-gold target – the same as the previous edition – for the World Championships in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates, from Dec 15-23.

Pesaka president Datuk Megat Zulkarnain Omardin said those who are expected to shine include defending champion Nor Farah Mazlan; 2023 Asian Championships winner Mohd Firdaus Latib; and Hanoi SEA Games gold medallist Mohd Khairi Adib Azhar.
