New NSC DG Abdul Rashid will implement changes only if necessary


PETALING JAYA: The mystery of who will be the new director general of the National Sports Council (NSC) has been solved after Abdul Rashid Yaakub (pic) was appointed to assume the position.

Abdul Rashid, who previously served as deputy director general (management) assumed his new position from yesterday to replace Datuk Ahmad Shapawi Ismail, who retired last month.
