Sailing nabs second bronze for Malaysia in Asian Games


HANGZHOU: Sailing has produced another Asian Games medal after Tengku Nurani Ezaty Tengku Khairudeen won the Windsurfing RSX Women bronze medal at the Xiangshan Sailing Centre on Tuesday (Sept 26).

The 19-year-old athlete completed 14 races with 43 net points to secure the second medal from sailing.

Thailand’s Siripon Kaewduang took gold with a net score of 18, while Hong Kong’s Ngai Wai Yan scored 20. In Sailing, the ones with the lowest net score are deemed the best after several races.

Malaysia got its first bronze medal earlier after Asnawi Iqbal Adam bagged the bronze medal in the ILCA 4.
