SEA Games: Double joy turns to heartbreak for one - officials confirm Haiqal as sole bronze winner for 100m


PHNOM PENH: Double exhilaration turned to heartbreak for one as Malaysian sprinters Mohd Haiqal Hanafi and Khairul Hafiz Jantan were initially announced as joint bronze medalists in the men's 100m before the results were revised.

The 2019 Philippines Games winner Haiqal, and Khairul the 2017 KL gold medallist, posted an identical time of 10.45s in the blue riband event at the Morodok Techo Stadium here on Friday (May 12).
