Two Wongs to make it bright

Hammer time!: Jackie’s best effort this year was 68.13m, which he did en route to winning the Malaysia Championships.

TWO Wongs can make it bright for Malaysia on the first day of the track and field competition which gets underway at the MyDinh Stadium in Hanoi.

Malaysia will have representatives in the men’s and women’s 200m, men’s and women’s hammer throw, men’s pole vault, men’s 1,500m and women’s triple jump but all eyes should be on hammer throwers Jackie Wong and Grace Wong, based on their performances over the last three years.
