Aznil qualifies for C’wealth Games with class act


PETALING JAYA: Weightlifter Mohd Aznil Bidin (pic) was out in the cold for two years but it did not stop him from putting up a fiery show in the World Championships in Uzbekistan.

The 27-year-old underlined his intent to make a successful title defence at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham next year by winning the men’s below 61kg class in the Commonwealth Championships at the world meet in Tashkent on Thursday.
