Wild card paddler Chao Ming aims to get more than a pat on the back


PETALING JAYA: The odds may be heavily stacked against him, but Chee Chao Ming (pic) will be out to prove that he’s no pushover against the world’s best when the Tokyo Paralympics table tennis competition begins today.

The 24-year-old will meet world No. 6 Mohamed Kalem of Italy in the Group C opener of the men’s singles Class 9 (impairment in legs or playing arm) at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium.
