Taekwondo team start from scratch


PETALING JAYA: It’s back to the drawing board for the national taekwando poomsae team as they start a rebuilding process after falling short in the SEA Games.

Despite a target of two gold medals, the poomsae team could only deliver one gold and two bronze medals in Philippines, forcing head coach Yap Yih Ting to hasten the development of new blood.
