PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Mixed Martials Art (MMA) fighter Ev “E.T.” Ting has soli­dified his position as a top contender in the ONE Fighting Championship after routing Costa Rican Ariel Sexton.

Ev scored a split-decision victory in a close back-and-forth battle against Sexton in a lightweight bout at ONE: Quest for Gold at the Thuwunna Indoor Stadium in Yangon on Friday.
