PETALING JAYA: Teenage water ski talent Aaliyah Yoong Hanifah fell just short of winning the gold medal in the women’s tricks events at the Asian Beach Games in Phuket, Thailand.

The 11-year-old, the youngest in the field, was unable to repeat her good run in the qualifying as she could only amass 5,230 points in the final to settle for the silver.
