On Monday, the National Sports Council (NSC) admitted to the possibility of postponing the nine outdoor disciplines if the conditions around Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya failed to improve.
Pahang’s chef de mission Datuk Dr Omar Othman described the current haze situation as unfortunate as the state were pinning their medal hopes on outdoor disciplines like beach soccer, equestrian and woodball.
