PETALING JAYA: A strong Japanese charge, led by high-profile rider Makoto Tamada, promises to spice things up when the new season of the Petronas Asia Road Racing Championships (ARRC) kick off at the Sepang Circuit this weekend.
This season will see a bigger grid in the premier SuperSports 600cc class, with 23 confirmed full-season contract riders compared to just 19 last year.
