LYTHAM, England: Singapore's Mardan Mamat was disqualified from the British Open after missing the cut on Friday after it was discoverd he had signed an incorrect scorecard.
The 44-year-old Asian, a three-time winner on the Asian Tour, followed a first-round 77 with a two-over par 72 on Friday at Royal Lytham and St. Annes, missing the 36-hole cut at the year's third major championship.
