National players not willing to push themselves at Kedah Open

PETALING JAYA: The just concluded Kedah Open badminton tournament has been nothing more than a competitive training exercise for the national players.

In order to make the tournament more interesting, the BA of Malaysia (BAM) even included a rule ensuring that all professional players compete in at least one domestic tournament or their names will not be submitted for international tournaments.
