VALENCE (France): The Proton Motorsports Rally Team are confident that they will not be just making up the numbers when the 2011 Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) gets underway today with the Monte Carlo Rally.
After testing the waters with two appearances in the Russian and Scottish legs of the IRC series and emerging second in the constructors’ category of the Asian Pacific Rally Championship (APRC) last year, Proton are ready to become a full-fledged serious player this season.
