KUALA TERENGGANU: Japan’s Katsu Taguchi did himself a huge favour on the opening day of Round 3 of the Malaysian Rally at Lake Kenyir here yesterday.

Lying fourth overall after the completion of the first two rounds – in Johor Baru in April and Jempol in July – Taguchi and co-driver Jagdev Singh, driving a Mitsubishi Lancer, took the chequered flag in the 4.16km special stage in 3:01.3.
