Lucky break for Kedah after national team’s Thai friendly called off

GEORGE TOWN: Kedah coach Ahmad Yusof is glad to hear that the national team’s friendly against Thai club side BEC Tero Sasano has been cancelled.

With six Kedah players in the national team, Ahmad was afraid of his players picking up injuries. This would have scuppered his plans for Tuesday’s FA Cup semi-final, first-leg away tie against Terengganu.
