MEXICO CITY (AP) - Paraguay's top footballer Salvador Cabanas was in critical but stable condition on Monday following surgery in which doctors failed to remove a bullet lodged in his skull.
Dr. Ernesto Martinez, who was part of the surgical team, told reporters he could not say that the Paraguay striker was out of life-threatening danger, but he called his condition stable.
