KL side play down chances in inaugural Asean Basket­ball League


KUALA LUMPUR: KL Dragons – the country’s first professional basketball team – unveiled their players for the first time yesterday and immediately played down their chances of making the playoffs in the inaugural Asean Basket­ball League (ABL).

With national coach Goh Cheng Huat at the helm, KL Dragons will have their work cut out for them when they face fancied teams from the Philippines (Patriots), Thailand (Tigers) and Indonesia (Satria Muda BritAma) in the six-team competition, which begins today.
