KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia staved off a strong challenge from India before chalking up a 43-29 win in a Division Two match of the HSBC Asian five-nation rugby tournament at the UiTM field in Shah Alam yesterday.
Malaysia, who are powered by three Fijians, will face China in the final on Saturday and the winners will be promoted to Division One. The Chinese defeated Pakistan 25-19 yesterday.
