FORMER Olympic champions Nigeria forced their way into the men's football semi-finals yesterday when they beat Ivory Coast 2-0 in an African derby in Qinhuangdao.
A goal in each half sealed the outcome for the 1996 gold medallists and avenged their loss to Ivory Coast in the African Nations Cup earlier this year.
