Letdown for Josiah despite clocking quick time

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s top track cyclist Josiah Ng chalked up his fastest time of the year in the men’s 200m sprint yesterday but agonisingly missed out on qualifying for the next round of the men’s 200m sprint race in the opening leg of the UCI Track World Cup at Dunc Gray Velodrome in Sydney yesterday.

Josiah clocked 10.386, even faster than the Asian Games record of 10.537 he set in Doha last December but it only placed him at 17th, missing out on qualification by just one spot.
