Women bag gold at World Bowling Championships


KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia emerged as the world's best team after a lapse of four years in the women's World Championships at Monterrey, Mexico, on Wednesday. 

The team of five - Shalin Zulkifli, Esther Cheah, Zandra Aziela Ibrahim Hakimi, Wendy Chai, Sharon Koh - amassed 6,323 pins to beat the fancied United States by a mere seven pins for the world title.
