Under-23 side to play in Merdeka Tournament

PETALING JAYA: The national Under-23 squad preparing for the Korat SEA Games in December will be participating in the 39th Merdeka Tournament at the Shah Alam Stadium from Aug 20-29. 

FA of Malaysia (FAM) general secretary Datuk Seri Dr Ibrahim Saad said yesterday only a few players from the team who competed in the recent Asian Cup would be called up to join the Under-23 squad.
