Swimming: Lew to the fore

KUALA LUMPUR: Negri Sembilan’s Lew Yih Wey stole the show on the opening day of the National Age-Group Swimming Championships when she beat a SEA Games qualifying mark en route to winning four gold medals at the DBKL Swimming Complex in Cheras yesterday.

The 16-year-old looked set to make her first SEA Games appearance for the country in Korat, Thailand at the end of this year after beating the Games' silver medal time in the women’s 800m freestyle.
