PETALING JAYA: The FA of Malaysia (FAM) have decided to stick by the rules in turning down Petaling Jaya Municipal Council's (MPPJ) appeal to remain in the Super League.
The 2003 Malaysia Cup champions were slapped a RM50,000 fine and a two-year suspension last month for failing to confirm their participation in the new Super League season, which begins in December, even though they were given an extended deadline from July 31 to Aug 31.
