LONDON: Terje Hauge, the Norwegian referee who handled Chelsea's Champions League defeat by Barcelona, has been the subject of abusive messages posted on the London club's official internet message board.
The club said on Friday they would investigate how the comments came to be posted but acknowledged that it could be difficult to trace and punish the individuals involved.
