CAPE TOWN: South Africa will spend up to 5 billion rand (US$810mil) on infrastructure for the 2010 football orld Cup, the National Treasury said on Wednesday.
Presenting the government's 2006 budget, Finance Minister Trevor Manuel said about 3 billion rand of this would be set aside over the next three fiscal years.
