PETALING JAYA: Former national doubles pair Chor Hooi Yee-Lim Pek Siah failed in their bid to win their first international title for the year when they lost 14-17, 8-15 to world number nine pair Gail Emms-Donna Kellogg of England in the final of the US$50,000 Helexpo Thessanoliki World Grand Prix in Athens yesterday.
Hooi Yee-Pek Siah, currently ranked 25th in the world, had earned their first final appearance in the World Open circuit when they upset England's second seeds Liza Parker-Suzanne Rayappan 15-12, 15-12 in the semi-finals on Saturday.
