Chong Chien-Khim Wah down top seeds to make semis

KANGAR: Kedah’s Lok Chong Chien-Lim Khim Wah stunned top seeds Raymond Koh-Mah Jun Loong of Penang to advance to the boys’ Under-18 doubles semi-finals of the national schools (MSSM) badminton championships at the Wawasan Hall here yesterday. 

The 15-9, 15-5 win in the quarter-finals was remarkable for the Kedah pair as they were playing as a pair for the first time in the MSSM meet and were up against a much experienced combination.
