RIO DE JANEIRO: Brazilian champions Santos reached the last 16 of the Libertadores Cup on Wednesday with a 6-0 thrashing of Bolivar, whose preparations for the match were hit by a players strike.
Ecuador's LDU joined Santos as Group Two qualifiers after holding Danubio to a 1-1 draw in Quito, a result which ended Uruguay's interest in the tournament.
