RIO DE JANEIRO: Former World Cup winning player and coach Mario Zagallo was in good condition on Tuesday after surgery to remove an intestinal blockage, doctors said.
Surgeons removed part of Zagallo's duodenum in a four-hour operation at the Samaritano Hospital, Dr Jose Luiz Spicacci said in an official statement.
