LLEYTON Hewitt tipped Roger Federer to defend his Wimbledon title after bowing out in a dogged quarter-final clash with the Swiss on Wednesday.
While the scoreline did not reflect it, the Australian put up a good fight as Federer won 6-1, 6-7 (1-7), 6-0, 6-4 to set up a semi-final encounter with French 10th seed Sebastien Grosjean.
