France’s second stringers down United States

WOLLONGONG: France made it four wins out of four and a maximum 20 points when their reserve side defeated the United States 41-14 here yesterday in a free-flowing Pool B game.

It was further confirmation that the 2002 Six Nations Grand Slam champions have impressive strength-in-depth and sets them up nicely for the knock-out stages starting with a quarter-final against either Australia or Ireland.
