LONDON: West Ham United continued to impress under stop-gap manager Trevor Brooking with a 3-0 demolition of Crewe Alexandra to move up to second place in the English first division on Tuesday.
Two goals from David Connolly and one for Matthew Etherington put the Hammers 3-0 up in 25 minutes as Crewe surrendered their unbeaten home record.
