RIO DE JANEIRO: Ricardo Teixeira was elected president of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) for the fifth successive time on Wednesday amid a battle of court orders.
Teixeira, standing for the “Five-time world champions” party, beat Carlos Alberto Oliveira by 46 votes to one with two abstentions.
