NOTTINGHAM: Promotion chasers Nottingham Forest snatched an equaliser in injury time to force a 2-2 draw and dash Grimsby's hopes of a crucial victory in their bid for First Division survival.
Gareth Williams knocked in Marlon Harewood's cross just as bottom club Grimsby thought they had done enough.
Former European champions Forest meanwhile stay in fourth place and remain firmly in contention for the promotion playoffs.
Grimsby went ahead through Alan Pouton two minutes after half-time after Paul Groves' strike in the 44th-minute equaliser cancelled out Andrew Reid's deflected opener for Forest. – AFP
